The QA department ensures our software products are of the highest quality and efficiency. We are a dedicated team of inspectors who carry out audits to validate quality criteria for customers, management, certifiers, and other stakeholders.

You will be a member of Web Development Team for NordVPN product. Your main task will be improving test automation and quality engineering strategy (tooling, processes, integrations). We seek a candidate who embraces modern solutions, especially in the evolving landscape of AI-driven quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and automate E2E tests;
  • Lead end-to-end testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage;
  • Improve and extend the existing test framework;
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing to validate application functionalities;
  • Develop and implement a quality improvement strategy, taking ownership of quality assurance efforts;
  • Implement solution recipes and frameworks for test automation, infrastructure monitoring and release engineering;
  • Maintain and evolve testing policies and standards;
  • Contribute to the technical tasks, feedback forms, and technical interviews;
  • Maintain and scale dynamic testing, integration, and test environments.

Core Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Engineering;
  • Strong test automation experience, with hands-on knowledge of modern testing frameworks;
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, TypeScript);
  • Experience with Playwright or Puppeteer;
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub/GitLab workflows, containers, and virtualized environments;
  • Knowledge of package management and build systems;
  • Familiarity with testing theory and methodologies;
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with AI-driven or low-code/no-code testing frameworks;
  • Familiar with test impact analysis, self-healing, and ML-based defect prediction;
  • Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., k6, wrk).

Salary Range

  • Gross Salary 4300 - 5800 EUR/Month.
